Who's coming to the What now?

Somehow, we're always one step behind. I think it's because we look up and around more than we look ahead. Today, the weather is peeerfect and we have our midterm tomorrow, so sitting inside studying is the perfect punishment for not having studied enough the day before. Then somebody calls us asking if we got tickets for Bill Clinton's conference at Berkeley University yet.

The what now? He's coming here? Really, they gave away tickets for free for all students last week? There are none left?! Ah..

And here we sit, hardly into the Olympics (bad Norwegians) in our own little bubble, not up to date on anything exept for the Gym schedule, the concerts in Vegas (where we cannot afford to go yet) and our homework (yes, we do study. all the time actually! If we're not busy watching tv-series).

What a waste. Studying Sociology and Globalization in the US, Cliton himself comes to speak to the students about Global citizenship, and we're left outside on the streets, watching those lucky students who managed to get their asses off the couch and get tickets the week before.

The bright side? We got to see a car (abc7 news) with a huge antenna woho, how exiting! Aaaand - now we have more time to study for the midterm... Yeeeeeey...

Maria quote: "Sure, we can go see the Gospel choir - as long as they don't perform exorcism!"
